More than 400 guests celebrate the National Day of Brazil in Bucharest

More than 400 guests gathered in Bucharest on 16 September 2026 to celebrate the National Day of Brazil, in an evening dedicated to friendship, culture and the growing ties between Brazil and Romania.

Hosted by H.E. Mr. Ricardo Guerra de Araújo, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Romania, and Mr. Morten Reimers, Honorary Consul of Brazil in Brașov, the reception welcomed members of the diplomatic corps, Romanian public authorities, business leaders, cultural representatives and friends of Brazil.

The event reflected the strength and diversity of the Brazil–Romania relationship. Guests came together in a warm and festive atmosphere, highlighting shared values and new opportunities for cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, education and culture.

Brazilian music, hospitality and national spirit shaped the evening, while the presence of more than 400 guests demonstrated the depth of the community and institutional relationships that connect the two countries.
